10th April 2008

One of the shrubs which keeps a lot of colourful interest throughout the year is the Photinia fraseri ‘Red Robin’.

I noticed today that some of the leaves have been well chewed.

The only potential culprit I could see were a number of leafhoppers but sao far as I am aware they only suck sap and don't have the mouthparts to chew the leaves.

Some Narcissi are quite early but most of the varieties in our garden flower after the Daffodils. Most of the Daffodils are now dying off but these Narcissi are only just opening.
